‘Hun Gallery International’ is an annual juried fine art competition and exhibition sponsored by Hun Gallery located in New York City. Through this competition, Hun Gallery is seeking and presenting new emerging artists internationally. This event will be featuring and interchanging dialogues of contemporary art between artists and public.
ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists, national and international, over the age of 18, Works must have been created within the last three years. There are no specifications regarding the content of the works. All media are eligible (Painting, Drawing, Printmaking, Sculpture, Photography, Video, Installation, Audio and Digital, and Computer Art). Artists may submit work with special requirements if the artist will be available to install.
- 2-dimensional work should not exceed 48” (h) x 36”(w).
- 3-dimensional work should not exceed 36” in any dimension.
- Video, Audio should be no longer than 20min.
SUBMIT
• Entry Form is available as DOC file at Hun Gallery Website:

• Images of works - by 35 mm Slides or Digital files, Letter size prints, CD, DVD
(Do not submit original works of art or master slides)
- One additional image for one 2-dimensional piece may be submitted. (No extra charge)
- Two-three additional images for one 3-dimensional piece may be submitted. (Front and side views, no extra charge)
- Slides and CD (or DVD) must be labeled with name of artist, title, medium, year of completion, dimensions of work. Please list the same information on the entry form artwork list.
- Any type Letter print is accepted. Please write artist name title, medium, year of completion, dimensions of work on the back of the print.
- JPEG or TIF format for digital images, AVI format for video are acceptable. (No jpeg file lager than 15MB. Maximum resolution of 300dpi.) Please name the file on the corresponding entry form artwork list.

- $ 30 up to 3works (If you wish to include more than 3, please include $5.00 for each additional work. No maximum.) Please make check or money order payable to Hun Gallery. Also you may pay through Paypal to hungallery@yahoo.com
• SASE
- If the artist wants to return of submission materials, a self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) must be included with sufficient postage.
- Artists outside the U.S. May include international reply coupons instead of stamps, or may add return post age cost to their entry fee at a rate of $10 USD per ounce of mail.

Entries must be received at Hun Gallery by January 15th. 2009
NOTIFICATION
The Result will be announced by e-mail and at Hun Gallery Website; www.hungallery.org,
and artists will be notified on January 26th. 2009.
AWARD
- All submissions will be reviewed by juries of ‘Hun Gallery’ representatives.
- Selected 30-40 winners will participate in ‘Hun Gallery International 2009’ at Hun Gallery from March 6th. to 26th. 2009.
- The catalogue will be produced and distributed in worldwide. Selected artists will receive five complimentary copies of the catalogue, invitation postcards and e-mail invitation.
- Winners will be represented and promoted by ‘Hun Gallery Artists’ File for 1 year.
- Selected artists among winners will be featured in Hun Gallery Art Bank and they will be invited for a group exhibition.
-Hun Gallery Members Award: Among winners, one selected artist will receive an opportunity to have a Solo Exhibition at Hun Gallery.
- Hun Art Foundation Award: Among winners, one selected artist will receive an opportunity to have a Solo Exhibition at Hun Gallery and participate in ART EXPO 2009.
- Best show Award: Among winners, five selected artists will receive an opportunity to participate in Group Exhibition at Space D9 (a newly opened gallery in East Village in New York) in 2009.
SHIPPING OF ACCEPTED WORKS
Individual Artists will be responsible for any other incurring cost including handling, shipping, picking up artworks. Accepted works will be due at Hun Gallery by February 25th. 2009. Artworks will be returned in the same carton/tube via the method that they were sent. Work can be picked up in person on March 31st ~April 10th. 2009
