thanks for your enthusiasm! thanks for your work on the colour site and at fresh. it's very exciting to see your efforts and collaborations with other artists in south auckland, fiji and australia! i feel very happy and at home when i look at photos from events at fresh. especially at the recent poetry event, um...where was my invite?
so great you're coming to la! what a great place for you to go! i will be going to tonga this month and staying for a while. no, i'm not going for the colonization...i mean coronation. my grandma is passing away so i'm going to be with the family there. i just finished grad. studies and am in transition, so i'm the grandchild to go.
If you know any artists heading to tonga within the next 6 months, hook us up. i will love to do some creative work with them while i'm there. it's an exciting time in Tonga to collaborate and create, especially with the building of the new downtown, the coronation of a new king, the strengthening of social movements, etc. there are so many possibilities for creativity!! nuku'alofa is where it's at ema!
although i see you have a soft spot for Fuamotu. It's all good girl!
lots of 'ofa,
loa
Here in Pago, sitting next to Victor at the library computers, the town is gearing up for the festival, everything's looking great, there's a buzz in the air :) see you soon!!
